Welcome to Calvary Chapel Berkeley’s Children’s Ministry. Family is very important to God and to us, therefore, we accept the responsibility of nurturing all children entrusted to our care, wholeheartedly. Our unrivaled commitment is that each child would come to know Jesus at the earliest age possible and understand what it means to be personally and relationally devoted to Him.
We provide age-appropriate biblical curriculum, activities, arts and crafts, and games, only secondary to serving as examples of what it means “to love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself.” (Mark 12:30-31)
Our compassionate volunteers foster a love for learning in a Kingdom-centered environment where kids feel safe and happy. While these early years are fragile, foundational, and formative, we pray they would one day become indelibly memorable… even life-changing!
We invite all children to remain in the sanctuary during worship service with their families and friends, so that their entire church experience would be an integrated whole. All children are lovingly prayed for by our pastor each week before they are dismissed. At Calvary Chapel, we celebrate our kids!
